Best Free NoFap Apps: Track Your Streak Without Paying
Free NoFap apps that let you track a streak without a subscription, plus a free setup guide, milestone targets and a relapse log template.
You don’t need a subscription to run a NoFap-style streak. You need a counter you’ll actually open, a way to log slips honestly, and a few near milestones. This guide covers the free NoFap apps worth installing, a free setup that takes five minutes, and a relapse log template you can copy.
Disclosure: SEVER is our product. We built SEVER. Other options are described from their official sites and store listings. None of these is affiliated with the NoFap community.

1. SEVER
- Best for
- A full streak system for $0
- Access
- Free Core forever; Premium optional
- Platforms
- iPhone, Android
Everything a NoFap streak needs is in SEVER’s free plan: the live counter, daily check-ins with a reminder, relapse logs with notes, levels, XP and milestone badges. If you’re already a few days in, set your start date and keep your count. Premium adds Fight the Urge, App Shield, Site Shield and the community, but the streak itself never needs it.
Strengths
- Counter to the second, longest streak and total clean days
- Badges for First Day, Three Days, One Week and more
- No ads and no trial clock
Trade-offs
- Urge tools and blockers cost extra
Available on: SEVER on the App Store · SEVER on Google Play
2. Fortify
- Best for
- Journaling your way through it
- Access
- Free signup; Premium for AI coaching, community and all Journeys
- Platforms
- iPhone, Android, web
Fortify is free to sign up and focuses on reflection: check-ins, a journal and goals, with badges and points. Its community, insights and full Journeys are Premium. It works well next to a free counter if you want somewhere to think through what happened.
Strengths
- Free check-ins, journal and goals
- Badges and points for consistency
Trade-offs
- Live streak counter not verified
- Community, insights and full Journeys are Premium
3. A calendar and a notes app
The zero-install option. Mark each clean day on a calendar and keep a note for relapses. It is completely private and costs nothing. The downside is that nothing reminds you, nothing celebrates day 7, and spotting patterns is up to you.
Set up a free streak in five minutes
- Install SEVER and skip the upgrade. The paywall can be closed; the Free Core stays.
- Set your start date. Starting today, or already a week in? Enter the real date.
- Pick your check-in time. Choose the hour before your usual risk window, not the morning.
- Turn on the reminder. One notification a day is enough.
- Decide your next milestone. Not 90 days. The next badge.
Milestones worth aiming for
| Milestone | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| 1 day | Proves the counter is real. Most streaks die before they start. |
| 3 days | A short, reachable goal that builds early momentum. |
| 1 week | A full weekly cycle, including your hardest day of the week. |
| 2 weeks | Enough logs to see your patterns clearly. |
| 21 days | Three full weeks of evidence that the routine works for you. |
| 1 month | A real track record to come back to if you slip. |
A relapse log you can copy
A reset is only wasted if you learn nothing from it. Whatever app you use, log these five things each time:
| Field | Example |
|---|---|
| When | Tuesday, 11:40 pm |
| Where | In bed, phone in hand |
| Trigger | Stress after work, couldn’t sleep |
| First click | Social media, then search |
| One change for next time | Phone charges in the kitchen |
After three or four entries, the “first click” and “where” columns usually point at one door. Close that door with a blocker. Our free porn blocker guide shows how, without paying.
Free vs paid NoFap apps
Paid apps like QUITTR and Brainbuddy add programs, lessons and community, and they can be worth it. But the streak itself shouldn’t cost money. Start free, see where you keep slipping, and pay only for the tool that closes that gap. For the paid options, see the best NoFap apps.
Methodology
App details come from official websites and store listings checked October 24, 2026, and SEVER’s milestones come from the current app. Milestone notes are practical guidance, not medical claims.
Frequently asked questions
Is there a free NoFap app with no ads?
Yes. SEVER's Free Core includes the streak counter, check-ins, relapse logs and milestones, with no ads and no trial deadline.
Can I track a NoFap streak without an app?
Yes. A paper calendar or notes app works for counting days. What you lose is reminders, milestones and the pattern view that helps you spot your risk hours.
What streak milestones should I aim for?
Short ones first: 1 day, 3 days, a week, two weeks, 21 days, then a month. Near goals keep you going better than a single 90-day target.
