This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, store, and safeguard information when you download, access, or use the SEVER mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App”).

SEVER is a non-medical, educational, and self-help application designed to assist users with personal habit tracking and motivation related to reducing pornography consumption.
The App is not a healthcare service, medical device, therapy platform, counseling service, or treatment program.
SEVER does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
SEVER does not create, receive, maintain, or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) under HIPAA, and the App is not a substance use disorder treatment program.
No doctor–patient, therapist–client, or healthcare provider relationship is created through the App.
Users seeking professional assistance related to addiction, compulsive behavior, or mental health concerns should consult a qualified healthcare professional.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
1.1 Information You Provide
Account Information
When creating an account, we may collect:

- Name
- Google profile information (if signing in with Google)
- Account creation date
Profile and Onboarding Data
Users may voluntarily provide:
- Age bracket
- Duration and frequency of pornography use
- Personal triggers and impact areas
- Primary motivation for quitting
- Commitment level

Habit Tracking and Behavioral Logs
Users may voluntarily enter:

Community Content
If you participate in the Tribe community feature, we collect content you voluntarily submit including posts and comments. Community posts are visible to other authenticated SEVER users. Users should exercise caution and avoid posting personally identifiable information.

We collect data regarding how users interact with the App through PostHog and Firebase Analytics, including:

Analytics data is used solely to improve functionality and product performance and is not used for advertising profiling.
Push Notifications
We collect device push notification tokens to send daily check-in reminders, streak celebrations, and re-engagement notifications. You may disable notifications through your device settings at any time.
2. SENSITIVE PERSONAL INFORMATION
Certain information voluntarily entered by users may relate to personal habits, emotional states, or behaviors associated with pornography consumption. SEVER processes such information only to provide habit tracking features requested by users and to enable App functionality.
Sensitive behavioral information is never sold, used for advertising profiling, or shared with data brokers.

SEVER uses industry-standard safeguards including encryption in transit, Firebase Security Rules ensuring only you can access your personal data, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. Despite these safeguards, no system can guarantee absolute security.

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide App functionality and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal information within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.

10. AGE RESTRICTIONS
Because the App addresses topics relating to sexual behavior, SEVER is intended for users 18 years of age or older. By creating an account you represent that you meet this requirement. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If we learn an account belongs to a minor we will terminate the account and delete associated data.
11. ACCOUNT DELETION

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material updates will be communicated through the App or by posting an updated policy. Continued use of the App after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
